Neo Geo Pocket Color (Slim)?

So I've heard about the "slim line" of the NGPC. Anyone know more about it, and whether or not this is one?

Slim Slimline?
Never heard of it.
If I didn't know any better, I'd say scam. Just the regular one I bet.
But I'm not authority on the matter. Just my guestimation! I hope to be proven wrong though!

There is a slightly slimmer version of the NGPC. Although... I actually thought it was silver and boxed with Sonic. Here.

If I were guessing, I'd say that it's a regular NGPC. That's a guess, I can be wrong.

The Slimline was released in other colors as well. It's hard to tell at a glance (unless it's a special edition: The Hanshin Tigers one, for example is only available as slimline). The physical difference is slight, it does however have a clearer screen and better battery life (or so it's said).

I've always wanted to ask... how does the NGP controll with that knob looking thing? Is it an analog stick, or some weird creation?

It's digital, and it's awesome. Super reactive, great for fighting games.

Not only is it digital, it's highly "clicky".

I have, aside from the obvious Gameboy/GBA/DS line, an Atari Lynx, Sega Game Gear, Tiger Game.com and a Bandai Wonderswan. The Neo Geo Pocket Color has the best 'joypad' of the lot.

Why no one else has made a stick like that for a hand held since is beyond me. Quite possibly the best hand held control ever.

100% wholeheartedly agree with the above. Awesome digital controls.

The auction looks like a bogstandard NGPC. I've never even heard of a slim version. Even if they existed. They would definately be Asian and no way have all English text on the box!
