how to lift a 100kg Arcade Machine onto some decking ?

Rent a palette jack/manual forklift/manual stacker capable of lifting it high enough. All equipment rental places will have them, tho one that can lift the load high enough might take some phonebook time.

It's got the "tank" treads on the back so you can drag it up stairs. Prolly tear up some the deck, but you said it was old.

You could take apart the cab, if possible. I know most candy cabs can be split in two and the CRT can come out.

You have to be able to find SOMEONE!

Mine wouldn't fit through any doors in my 1920's house so I had to take it apart. If you have to go this route at lease you know you can lift everything by yourself. Well that is if you can lift the monitor....
What game or cab is it?

hi guys thanks for the extra info and support its appreciated , the Cab will most likely be a Sega Astro City. With all the great responses in this Thread i can think about what i can do when the time arrives.

If you have to take it apart, it's actually a lot easier than it looks. Comes apart in 4 pieces total plus if you do it's a good oppertunity to clean it out. Hit me up if you have the same problem as me and have any questions

Do not take it apart
Keep in mind the high voltages at the CRT and flyback transformer even when unplugged. You could do a discharge, but if done wrong you could fry yourself and the cab. Also risk of damage taking an old cabinet apart.

Best to keep it as one unit and go with the ramps or the tank tread appliance mover. Absolutely get two friends to help.

I only recommended it if you couldn't get it in the house. In a lot of cases it will not fit through a door, I believe they are 30" wide and most doors are 29-30" wide. You could do damage to your house or cab art by wedging it in somewhere. The monitor comes out in 4 bolts and a simple molex connector. How do you think people rotate the monitors?
