Evaporative coolers. Does anyone else have one of these things? What a huge pain in the ass they are.

Made a trip to DC to visit some friends

:(
On the way back, some bum blocked the bus stop until I gave him $5.
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

Sounds like someone needed a kick in the junk.

Ticked: My car said it was 106 outside when I left the flea market at 2 today. That only went down to 100 once I was driving. I think I melted a bit. Also, it isn't even August yet.

Smile: Found a few things for people at the flea market. Got Valentina hot sauce, some raspberry syrup for my coffee, and both pomegranate and peach wine on the way home too.

I went to Summerfest Friday night and made it all the way to the front row of Dropkick Murphy's! It was so awesome.

I'm going to Summerfest tomorrow and going to watch 311. Really excited!!

I hope you guys get some rain soon... :(

We've had a storm everyday for the past three days (though the one on Thursday that Ryan posted pics of was massive ), and we've been getting an unusual amount of rain the past couple of weeks anyway.

Not that I don't enjoy it (in fact I love it) but you definitely need that water down south.

We got lucky here in Houston on Wednesday and had a good downpour. I doubt it will take us out of D4 when the maps are next updated, but at least plants that aren't lucky enough to be near sprinklers or waterways got a drink. Unfortunately that rain was pretty much just around here I believe.

FUCK !!!

Just gutted a Game Boy Advance to find out the type of screen they used isn't compatible with a backlight mod. And frontlight mods suck. They give arching, and make the colors have a washed look... All this work for nothing!... You have no idea how hard it was to get the screen out of its metal casing. Those bastards at Nintendo actually taped the screen to the metal casing. And I'm not talking regular tape. More like the superglue kinda tape!... Took me the better part of an hour to separate the screen from the case without braking it. All for nothing !!!

:x :x :x

The GBA feels so good in your hands. Much better than that shitty GBA SP model. Why couldn't Nintendo just make a regular GBA with backlight instead of changing the model?... Grr...
