How do you like your HORI SS Saturn stick? I'm about to buy one myself. I have some Xmen vs Street fighter and Waku Waku 7 to playsynbiosfan wrote:lol, that's an old photo![]()

Re: My collection so far...
Overall, it's easily my favorite stick. The joystick itself is very responsive as are the buttons. The rapid fire switches for each button are helpful for shooters. My only complaint is the button layout. The first two buttons on each row are the right (top) and left (bottom) which just doesn't feel right to me. That's why I bought the Ascii Saturn Stick, I prefer that button layout better. I actually haven't used it yet to be able to rate it. I'm told the Asciis are a step below the Horis but a step above the stock Saturn stick. I've thought about getting one of these...Bradtemple87 wrote:How do you like your HORI SS Saturn stick? but again I don't like the button layout. Someday maybe

Your collection is superlatively sexy. I'm particularly impressed at the Shining Force III trilogy you have... I've seen your avatar on your posts around the forums and always wondered if you played SF3. My only disappointment in your collection is the box to T-Mek for the Sega 32X. Someone really did a number on that one!

I'm taking care of my girlfriends cat and she won't leave me alone when I'm playing games. To take care of that I bought this (and some accessories I forget to take a pic of earlier)

The controller will be good for rpgs like SFIII & Mystaria/Blazing Heroes. I think it would suck with Shining the Holy Ark trying to call the right pixies.
I show 2 Game Shark boxes but neither GSs work. I've owned 5 of the bastards and the longest I've had one last is 6 months or so. If you have one that works, you're lucky. Now Action Replays...
EDIT: T-Mek's box has been upgraded

Saturn GS is terrible for the cart slot as the board is thick and can mess up the slot pins. If you've only had the GS stop working but your AR still works, consider yourself lucky.synbiosfan wrote: I show 2 Game Shark boxes but neither GSs work. Yeah, I just keep the GSs for show.
I've had the same AR since 03 and it's loaded with cheats I never use...well, hardly use...alright, I'm a cheater
You have to watch out for the original black AR carts too (the new black ARs are okay I'm told).
EDIT: More toys

The seller was cool enough to throw in a donor case so here's my first attempt at a Everdrive case

The case is beat up so the fact that the hole for the pause button is too big isin't a big deal. I did it by eye and was off a hair. You can't see in the pic but there's a hair-width gap between the button and case so no rubbing. I used a file to make the SD slot in about 5 minutes. I used masking tape to make sure the length and width were correct. It's funny I was more concerned about screwing up the slot than drilling the hole which I did mess up, a little

Re: My collection so far...
A couple days ago I noticed a variation of the Nights 3D Controller Box variation that came with a sticker on the box and a scratch off card in addition to the normal contents.
Side by side

The scratch off card

Until someone let's me know differently or I find another variation myself, I believe I need one last item to have every US game & demo released for the Saturn. The free 3 Pack (Virtua Cop, Daytona, Virtua Fighter 2) without the $15 coupon marking on the upper right part of the box. No rush, I'll find it
I kind of like the Shining games so I picked up the SF III Art Book and Strategy Guides for Scenarios 1,2,3

Some Wii fun
