What RPG are you playing right now?

Started playing digital devil saga. Pretty awesome so far.

On my New Game+ of Vagrant Story. LOVE it. I guess it's only an RPG in a technical sense - it has a really unique battle system. Sort of reminds me of a proto-FFXII though.

It unlocks some new dungeons with harder enemies that also contain more monsters/extra-powerful weapons and magic to wield. You also can go back and fight certain bosses in time trials - though I don't know if that unlocks anything else yet. Besides that the rest of the game is pretty much the same except much easier.

I agree it is much MUCH better than FFXII, but unfortunately a lot shorter and linear.
They should really get Matsuno to make a redux of this or a sequel since they kind of made room for one at the end.

Too bad Square Enix needs more Final Fantasy.

I wish him and all his original Quest developers could somehow find their way over to Mistwalker or something.

I'm glad White Knight Cecil looks awesome in the PSP remake! In fact everything does! Even FF6 would look pretty slick in this style I'd say.

I've been playing Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World - Wii. I am about 16 hrs in and I have to say its not as bad as most reviews I have read. While its not as good as ToS, I am enjoying it.

I am almost done with Final Fantasy XIII. Just finished chapter 12 now and I plan on exploring around pulse for a bit doing some of the earlier hunting missions and seeing what interesting stuff I can get my grubby hands on. If everything goes according to plan I'll have a ton of excess CP stored up for when I get the next crystarium expansion.
