Strider NES cart only - $2
Trojan NES in box with sleeve and styrofoam, no manual - $2
Kid Niki radical ninja NES in box with styrofoam and manual, no sleeve - $3
Sonic 2 GG - Free

Was surprised to see boxed NES games in the wild, let alone at half price books. That place has been good to me these past two weeks.

Upgraded SNES (I guess N64 and NGC/SGB as well)/ Xbox / PS1 (used for imported) to Svideo, makes everything much sharper but colors that were solid now look like they are using dithering, not sure if that's normal.

@BRIK, I always try to avoid those 'greatest hits' style versions of games, you tend to see them op shops for $2, they pop up a lot.

I've actually bought quite a few 'Big Bytes' games over the years as they're cheap and reliable. Unfortunately Red Ant, which was the distributor, went bust a few years ago so you don't see them around new anywhere any more.

Hopefully. I'm pegging on it working on a computer that's three years old. Haven't tried it out yet though.

I think it'd run, but you'd have to have the graphics setting rather low. The game came out in 2000, and the average PC you get for $500 isn't powerful enough to run the latest games really well.

For some reason three Goodwills in my area have all had PS1's in stock the past two weeks. I passed on a few going for $10 and $20 with cords and crappy controllers, and another filthy one for $5. But the other day was 50% off everything, so for $2.68 I snagged a decent looking SCPH-1001.
Powers on but won't read CDs, maybe it just needs a cleaning, and if it still won't work it's cheap enough for me to not feel guilty tinkering with it.

This isn't good for older games (the first Deus Ex isn't even on there), but this site is a way to find out if your PC can at least play more current games.

DUDE'S, I FOUND SPACE MEGAFORCE (SNES) IN THE WILD TODAY!!!!!

It was cart only and I had to pay $34 to get it, but this game was at the top of my list for wanted SNES games right next to Aero Fighters. So I'm super pumped right now. Never thought I'd actually find it locally.

Other good finds today:
Sunset Riders (SNES) *Cart Only* - $4.50
Ultimate Stuntman (NES) - $9
