I would buy one, but not for $250. Maybe $150 is the max I would pay. :nudge nudge:

I bet you could pull a few buyers at that price with the custom side and panel art. I'd say if it's possible to get the price down to an affordable price of say under $100 you'd get a lot of attention. If you can't get that low keep the price high and keep everything completely custom and see how the orders roll in. Also - I assume you've posted on other forums.

WOW! That's really cool! Kudos! I'm interested. Not today, but within this year I'd totally commission one - I don't need a PS3, but I do need one of these. If you can make in function and look the same for cheaper, I'll buy one sooner. Think you can you use the controls from an Arcade Nano Sonic? They're dirt-cheap but the controls are relatively solid from my testing, and they should be easy to mount into your chasis. I'll send you mine for free if you're intersted.

To answer a few questions raised,

1) Yes, id be willing to make and sell these with artwork from your favourite game. If anyone is interested in buying one , please PM me. As mentioned earlier the cost would probably be $250 Australian + about $20 for delivery. Just bear in mind that the backlit GBA SP and joystick alone cost me $100 never mind the other parts and 3-5 days of labor, so it would be basically for the hobby of building these that I would do it.

2) Im not insulted in the suggestion but Im actually Australian not british. :P

3) Someone mentioned commissions, not sure what you meant but PM me to discuss.
