I don't know why I read these threads, they just re-enforce my paranoia of letting people near my house. One time a had a friend over and he joked that he took my Game Boy Micro. I bitched him out for a few days till he said he merely hid it. Yeah...

My story is pretty tame. Back when I was in high school, I loaned Wild Arms to a classmate who I had loaned things to in the past. He always returned them promptly when asked but for some reason I just could not get him to return Wild Arms even after several confrontations. It was a shame really because he was always a real nice guy otherwise. I never got it back but I replaced it with a used copy from eBay many years later after college.

In middle school a kid came over to trade cards and left with my Upper Deck Griffey Jr. rookie, back when the card was "teh hotness." My dad and I later went to his house to talk to his parents, but the kid just denied everything.

I've had two car steros stolen, but they were shit stereos so I didn't really care - I was more bummed about losing some CDs.

.
Same type of experience except it was x-men and marvel cards. I had two holographic cards of rogue and jean grey. They were rare to come by. The dude wanted to take it off my hands for free. He said his sister wanted them which was a bogus lie. I told him I would never trade him the cards. He stole them during lunch time my folder, eventhough no student is allowed back into the classroom. He ran off to tiny ass islands below china. I never lent any of my video games. I could have lost crazy taxi to someone who was a jerk.

Are you talking about the Philippines, Taiwan or Indonesia?

A really really really tiny island near Indonesia. Indonesia is too big. probably smaller than Hawaii islands. I don't remember the location or what area. Somewhere around those areas or more to right side top Australia. Probably near Figi but smaller island than that.
