I agree. "This sucks, that sucks, every game that's popular sucks", meh.
So easy to just dismiss any opinion I have by throwing them all under some big bold generalization isn't it? Much better than actually paying attention to my points and seeing if I actually have good reasons for not liking a particular title. Wow, I must be on the gamefaqs forum where differing opinions on popular games are just frowned upon and automatically labelled trolling. God forbid anyone not follow the pack and actually have individual opinions of their own in this me too world. I thought this forum was more mature that that.

You wouldn't do well in any kind of intelligent debate when all you can do is just generalize everything a person says rather than directly address his points and provide counter points. Just a thought

I almost feel like that's directed at me even though I know it isn't.

The level design is sloppy and the jump mechanics in this are absolute garbage. Sack boy is easily the most frustrating character I ever controlled in a platform game. Everything about the way he moves and jumps is just AWFUL. He makes Belmont from the original Castlevania seem graceful by comparison
While I don't know if I'd say it's the worst I've ever played, I do feel I should point out that the controls were one of the most frustrating aspects of this game, particularly regarding the sackboy's bad habit of changing planes randomly when jumping. More than once I ended up getting killed or struggled to grab an item because he just simply refused to go where I needed him to or threw himself off a cliff like a lemming instead of using the bridge I had intentionally aimed him at.

At the same time I feel the sloppy level design shouldn't be considered too big of an issue as the game's based around a construction tool that the game devs used to construct their levels. If you dislike what the devs created using it, there are considerably more levels to check out in multiplayer, and you can also make your own. Then again if you dislike the engine for the game, this is probably just a moot point.

I can understand LBP not being everyone's cup-o-tea, but it really speaks to me. I think it's excellent. One of the first platformers in a long long time to remind me why I love a great platformer. Truth be told, playing it gives me a lot of smiles, and a certain thrill of "what will they think of next?" that reminds me a hell of a lot of playing Super Mario World for the first time way back when. Funny thing -- I only bought LBP because I needed a 2nd Dual Shock 3 and it was cheaper to buy the bundle on clearance that included the game.

I kind of took your post as half joking, so I tried to ignore it. Brunoafh's reply to that post got under my skin a bit though. Nothing against either one of you. I've been on the forum long enough to know you're both pretty cool. However, the implication that my opinions have no merit because I have some sort of agenda was kind of offensive to me and I got a little upset. I've got no beef with anyone here though, but I just didn't like the idea that came across in those two posts. It felt like the equivalent of some gamefaqs user saying, "Shut up troll! Nobody cares what you think!".

So what the hell is up with the free PSN+? I still see the tag next to my name, I keep reading about "extensions" to the free month. But the expiration date on my account still shows 7/3/11 and all of the free content I have downloaded under + reflects that, no longer allowing me to activate or play it.
