After 3 months I have finally finished building possibly the worlds smallest arcade machine.
The little people from "The land of the giants" now have a full size arcade machine.
Check it out and let me know what you think

Very nice! I did a screen grab for all to see. I hate slugging thru a video, pics and text are easier to study. Will the Mini Arcade will work on any GBA game?
This is really detailed, maybe post some pics here with a breakdown how you made this?

Yes, it will take any gba cartridge. Just need to open the back cover which sticks on with magnets and replace the space invaders cartridge with whatever gba game you like.

I might as well be the one to ask -- are you planning on make more of them?vcoleiro1 wrote: Yes, it will take any gba cartridge. Just need to open the back cover which sticks on with magnets and replace the space invaders cartridge with whatever gba game you like.

Yes, I also have a few ideas to make some variants including a mini outrun machine with steering wheel etc and an even smaller arcade machine using a GBA micro.

Re: Worlds smallest working Arcade Machine
do you plan to make ones for sale? Perhaps custom requests, etc?
Re: Worlds smallest working Arcade Machine
A lot of people have said I should make and sell these. However, they do take some time to build and I would probably need to sell them for at least $250 . Do you think they would sell?noiseredux wrote:do you plan to make ones for sale? Perhaps custom requests, etc?
In terms of custom requests , using the same cab design I can put pretty much any other arcade game art work on, that shouldnt be to difficult.

at that price, I think it could be tough to get sales. I don't doubt that the work is worth $250, just that perhaps not that many people would be willing to shell out such a premium.vcoleiro1 wrote:A lot of people have said I should make and sell these.
