Re: vote for some of the greatest games (poll #30, 6/27/11)
Pokemon Red/Blue graduates to "the list", but only Bubble Bobble continues on. although the FF series has performed dismally on these polls, i suspect that FF3 (aka FF6) will do pretty well. i'm guessing Double Dragon will also get a lot of votes. happy voting.

Re: vote for some of the greatest games (poll #32, 7/1/11)
[posting a little early b/c going out of town. also, monday's poll will prob. be skipped and the next update will be on wed.]
Bubble Bobble wins a decisive victory in its last showing and, somewhat surprisingly, joins the pantheon. Majora's Mask and Portal survive their debut. i'm predicting that Soulcalibur will come out on top this poll, and perhaps Castlevania III. happy voting.

Re: vote for some of the greatest games (poll #33, 7/6/11)
there was a 4-way tie, so Majora's Mask and Portal continue on to their 3rd and final poll, and Castlevania III and Rhythm Tengoku make it to their 2nd poll. i'm surprised Soulcalibur got completely ignored. not sure any of the new contenders will make much of an impression. happy voting.

Re: vote for some of the greatest games (poll #33, 7/6/11)
i've noticed that the entire final fantasy and grand theft auto series so far have been completely ignored, and i've been meaning to ask if anyone has any comments as to why. are they just completely overrated or do they just not hold up over time? any thoughts?

Re: vote for some of the greatest games (poll #33, 7/6/11)
I've never had any interest in the GTA series. As for Final Fantasy, the series as a whole is phenomenally overrated, especially the later games.geozeldadude wrote:i've noticed that the entire final fantasy and grand theft auto series so far have been completely ignored, and i've been meaning to ask if anyone has any comments as to why. are they just completely overrated or do they just not hold up over time? any thoughts?
