Yes, but they didn't have a Waffle House on his ship or any of the places he stopped in Asia.

None in MN or WI to my knowledge...for that matter, the nearest IHOP is a good 3 hours away too.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Tons here in Colorado too.BoringSupreez wrote:I thought they had locations outside of the South. The Casey Anthony verdict really pissed me off today. Bothered me all day. She's guilty as hell

I freaking love Waffle House. Those waffles are just amazing.
I remember pulling in there at 2 am with my dad as a kid during long trips for work.
Lots of nostalgia for me at diners and truck stops...
Sorry, I know that was kinda random.

One thing I remember about pancake places in the south is that they all use fake maple syrup and margarine instead of butter. Don't get me wrong but a lot of restaurants in the north also use fake syrup but they will all offer butter.
What is it about margarine's popularity in the south?

It's a bit "trashy" to me but hey, I give them a lot of credit for keeping the costs down. My wife enjoys watching that TV show "Say Yes to the Dress" and it's crazy to see someone wanting to spend $10K on a stupid dress when that money could go towards a house or a car.Luke wrote:Waffle House Wedding

I've never been to a Waffle House even though there is one about 2 minutes away from where I live
