Post by Demented Collector »

Found this dedicated Game Gear site whilst looking for information on GG games that use the link cable and thought it may interest some..

http://gamegear.isgreat.org/

No forum. :(

Just info. :)

Edit: Link changed to main page.

Man, I just found that site too, about a week ago or something. Very cool though. I like that he has info and box shots on the region releases of each game. (Someone's got to get a better pic of the Defenders of Oasis box though; I can't find a decent one). The reviews are good too (although, my opinions often differ); looking forword to more from the site.

There are too few Game Gear sites out there. I'm even thinking of doing a blog devoted to the system.
Been amassing an impressive (to me) GG collection lately.

One guy started a thread on Gamefaqs (Game Gear board, where else) that talks about a lot of different games for it; that's who should really start a blog (maybe I should suggest it to him).

Good information site, looks like it came out of a Geocities time warp though.

I still can't view the page. It thinks a while then gives up.

This one for the accessories page might work.

I thought since the analogue TV signal was turned off where I live the TV tuner accessorie was useless.

Then I found out what the AV in was for..

I have a TV tuner, I really got to get myself one of those connector cables though.
Once I hooked up Zelda: OoT to it via an RF connection. That was weird and cool, but I definitely need a better signal.

Try a different browser? I'm on Firefox 3.(something).
Otherwise I don't know, maybe try clearing your browser cache files or something. That works sometimes for me.

Cool site. I played through most of Castlevania SOTN on game gear when I got my TV tuner, then I watched The Matrix on it.
