I'm surprised there are people out there getting mad about this (though I suppose I shouldn't be). Wasn't 30 days enough time?

I did it on the first night. It took 10 minutes, not counting leaving the system on for the actual download, which required zero effort on my part.

The only thing that might have stopped anybody is simply being unable to get online.

Odd.

to all the people surprised people are getting mad about this.. im surprised there are peoople actually defending sony about this. They said it would run through the 3rd. The friggin DEFINITION of through is up to and including

And saying 'why did you wait' is pretty lame. For me it was mainly because my system wasn't working anyway so i hadn't turned it on. But even if it was i was intentionally waiting. I mean, christ, how many times did the network go up and back down with aditional securtiy attacks? I wanted to be damn sure they had their stuff sorted out

Anyway, update: Seems they got flooded with pissed off people (rightfully so) and have extended this through the 5th. So go get your stuff now if you havent

waiting until the last minute to do anything is generally ill advised.

But yeah, Sony sucks blah blah etc etc

So I actually went and picked out the games I wanted but never downloaded them because I'm nearly out of net for the month and can't download them now. Will I still be able to download them because I've technically purchased them?

Sony has extended the program to 9am PST July 5.

IF YOU DIDN'T GET IN ON IT BEFORE, GET IN ON IT NOW.

I love how people just bash Sony for any reason now, whether it's justified or not
