So, I had a Hori Wii stick, I took the wire out and want to do something with it, has anyone seen any easy hacks to utilize the Wii remote expansion port?

I don't get what you are trying to do. Didn't the Hori Wii stick already plug into the Wii Remote?

For whatever reason, he has removed the cable that connects the Hori stick to the Wii remote. Now he wants to know whether he can use that cable to plug other things into the Wii remote and have it work.

Isn't that cable proprietary to the Hori stick?

Anyways a great easy mod is the PSX to Wii Remote Mayflash Adaptor. It opens up tons of various controllers to try on Wii Classic enabled games.

im going to use the hori housing for a universal stick. the wire that i removed i want to use in a mod. like maybe a saturn to wii or genesis to wii... i duno, just something.

So what does the cable end that connects to the Hori look like? Without some sort of Wii Remote compatible PCB the cable won't be of much use. If you keep the Hori PCB with the cable you can build a custom controller to work in the Wii Classic games. But probably cheaper just to gut out a Wii Classic Controller if going that route. Maybe look into that Mayflash adaptor, the more obscure PSX controllers to try out.

i guess i can use the hori pcb to make a controller. the wire has 5 wires that connect to pins that connect to the wiimote.
