It must be an America-thing 'cause I've not had any problems outside of the first day in Japan. :roll:
Lesse:

Japan = Tiny

USA = HUGE

the people I wanna play arent a few miles away theyre thousands of miles away.
True that and internet speeds are also significantly faster here too. But I also do play a friend who's around 1,000 miles away and we have no lag. Sure it's not east coast to west coast but y'know~
Then again, back in CA, back in the SNES days, I played my cousin in NY on X-band with no problems in Mario Kart and KI so I can't imagine that with broadband it's that hard to get their network working properly state-side. Oh vell~ :roll:

My opinion on Brawl

Yes it is an Expansion of Melee. Everything is the same except the new characters and the smash attack but the moves are all the same. The new icons the trophy one thats like a pokeball.

f you like the kirby games (superstar, adventure, etc.), but thought they were a tad too easy, brawl's subspace emissary is for you, almost enough to warrant a purchase on it's own if you are a big enough fan of said games. I know I really enjoyed it. In terms of multiplayer, its not terribly different, jsut more varied and more polished than before.

its not just that. not everyone has the same isp speeds. add to the fact that the Nintendo servers are weird.

Yeah I get that ISP speeds are different but how are Nintendo's servers wonky?

Buy Melee. There's no way you'll regret it. It's a great game and plays much differently than brawl, so you likely won't feel like you're buying the same game twice. It may have unbalanced characters and crappy courses, but having someone skip over Melee entirely is like skipping straight to Sonic 2 because it's better than 1 (no flames). Although in honesty, I enjoyed Melee much more, even if Brawl is better.
