I'm sure a company like XSeed would've been happy to bring over Fatal Frame IV or Xenoblade.
Why do you think it might be that NoA doesn't want to do this? Selling the US distribution rights to these games I mean. It seems like they'd have nothing to lose.

Also, guys, at least they actually TOLD us they weren't bringing it to the US. They wouldn't tell us shit about Fatal Frame and even outright refused to answer questions about it. The only reason we found out that game wasn't coming to the US was because TECMO told us that Nintendo wasn't going to publish it.

But the majority of the people you quoted (including myself) are planning on purchasing the game, and supporting Nintendo and the developers. We're just frustrated that NoA is handling the situation so poorly with these lousy press releases.

On a little side note, you guys do know that PAL Wiis display 480p and support system wide 60Hz mode right? You don't need to do anything special to play them on your TVs like the 90s consoles.

I didn't know that. That's great! I already use gecko os to play japanese games so I should be set then.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

No, I never knew that. Neat.

After putting it on their US release schedule.
And still, their answer was more in the lines of "We current have no plans..." ambiguous yet again. I think I've given up finally anyways, fuck it. I'll import the games and hope these are huge sellers in Europe so NoA can chew on that a little.
Actually, flamepanther, you're right. I did speak too soon without considering the entire situation. However, I do think that Nintendo should have been a little more self-conscious with their "look for updates soon!" comment given the attitudes of the people they were talking to. I understand it was likely some lower-end guy who had actually gotten the higher-ups to "consider it", then he had to come back to the same fanbase after they said "Probably never," but it would have been a better situation if he'd just withheld comment entirely until a verdict had been made, rather than riling up these gamers with a statement that could easily be construed as an indication of good things to come.
Although, these people still would have thrown a fit regardless, and equalsign's statements are absolutely true.
...I wonder if there's a correlation between hardcore gaming tendencies and income... obviously, hardcore gamers are more privy to pirating games because they have the technical know-how to do it, and because of their more comprehensive knowledge of gaming their expectations are absolutely through the roof, but the absolute moral disregard most of them exhibit when it comes to supporting their industry seems so severe that I have to assume there's some other contingent factor which makes them act this way.

Snickering at the fact that after the PAL SNES and N64 libraries and consoles being a joke compared to the American ones, that the PAL Wiis are going to be the most valuable in the future, since we seem to have gotten more exclusives than you guys
This is our revenge for not getting FF3/6, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG ect. ect.
...nah, you know we love you guys. When this comes out I'm helping every single one of you to import this
