This!...emwearz wrote:Oh yeah, poor America, Nintendo can finally start screwing you over after having had Australia and PAL Zones mounted and raped for a good 20 years.

Well, the issue isn't that one territory is getting it and another one isn't, like Xeogred stated. It's being translated to English, so everybody gets to play regardless. The problem is that NoA are being complete jackasses about it.

That's why I hacked my Wii, now I can play Xenoblade, The Last Story, Fatal Frame IV, Disaster and Pandora's Tower.

Like my other posts stated, this is not about hacking. This is about Nintendo saying "fuck off/ we don't care", when Xenoblade for example, is already translated into English.KillerJuan77 wrote:That's why I hacked my Wii, now I can play Xenoblade, The Last Story, Fatal Frame IV, Disaster and Pandora's Tower.
Re: Nintendo is SCREWING the US
What's irritating to me is how there were so many rumors floating around that it had been confirmed for North America, then Nintendo posted this on facebook:
This had a very optimistic tone to it, like they were waiting for the approval to pass on the good news to their enthusiastic fans and make it official. Then a few days later:Nintendo wrote:Hey fans, we appreciate your enthusiasm. Look for more updates to come soon!
It almost feels like Nintendo of America is just messing with us.Nintendo wrote:Thank you for your enthusiasm. We promised an update, so here it is. We never say “never,” but we can confirm that there are no plans to bring these three games to the Americas at this time. Thanks so much for your passion, and for being such great fans!

I know, but it end ups being better to just hack your console while importing the games. The same thing happened with Disaster: Day Of Crisis and the sequel to Trace Memories, NOA seems to give 2 fucks about fan base.Bradtemple87 wrote:Like my other posts stated, this is not about hacking. They always have been. Or at least they have been for a long time. I've written them letters twice and both times, as I recall, the responses have been pretty much "Thanks for liking us and all, but we don't care, and possibly didn't even read your letter thoroughly. Subscribe to Nintendo Power for the latest gaming news."boltfanSD wrote:It almost feels like Nintendo of America is just messing with us.
We can't complain too loudly. PAL regions have been getting the short end of the stick for years.

Or in other words, "Thank you for writing a giant, multi-million dollar company. You will continue to buy our products and enriching us no matter what we do, so haha sucker!" Why should Nintendo be any different than any other uncaring profit-seeking corp?DinnerX wrote:They always have been. Or at least they have been for a long time.
