To make selling easier...maybe...

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

To make selling easier...maybe...

Post by HoboJoe »

I don't know how possible it is but perhaps each person could have like a...rating of some sort under their name and when somebody purchases something from them they can give them a good, bad, neutral rating. This way you don't gotta go wading through that one forum thread. Just an idea.
Somebody sell me a model 1 modchip for Saturn. Please.

Back in the day, DCPawnShop had a subforum where each user had his own thread and whoever bought or sold posted there, seeing if someone was reliable was as easy as looking for their thread. Of course, that was a forum pretty much dedicated to making B/S/T deals

Your idea is good, but someone would have to keep those ratings up to date, unless an automated way is found, it would be a very complicated task

Great idea!!!!! Racketboy could implement a rating system under peoples profile, like ebay. **hint, hint, nudge, nudge**

There is a karma mod for these boards that could be used for this. The mod would need modding though to prevent it from being abused but its do-able cos I've seen it modded on an emule link site. Just need to make people enter a reason and only allow each user to score any other user once in a day. I could help to do this, I don't think it would be too difficult

I can not stand that site because of all the adds! Thanks to racketboy, his adds are not obnoxious like at gametz. Thank you racketboy! :)
