My copy says windows 3.1. The application however is actually dos and runs in dosbox or windows versions with dos support. I played it a lot on windows 98.Opa Opa wrote:What was the preferred OS for the PC version?

PC Rayman was the first game I bought myself. I have a lot of memories of playing this game with the original microsoft sidewinder. I was sad I couldn't replay bosses or make that weird face after Rayman learned how to run.

the article also forgot to mention Rayman Advance (GBA), which is a pretty amazing port considering the hardware.
