hey I'm Chris (hence the name) and I've been alive for 25 years! I love playing new and old games and wish things were the way it was when I was 12. Thanks to racketboy I can have a little of that dream come true. I love playing random games no one bothers to play, read, and write.

You can buy those expensive sega games for 4 bucks now! And you don't have to ask your parents for them! 12<man-child.
Glad to finally join Racketboy! I've been collecting games since I was 5 years old and I got my first Nintendo, and it only went downhill from there. Most of my best friends are classic gamers as well, and earlier this year we decided to start a podcast on the subject called 'Well Versed In the Classics'- It's on [email protected]. I've been visiting this site for years, lurking on the forums and main site and it took the podcast to realize there is plenty of time to be wasted discussing games online as well as off. I pretty much enjoy just about anything from the NES through the Dreamcast, barring a few PS2 and Gamecube games I have played for no more than 15 minutes. As far as my collection, it's pretty much at the point where I'm just looking for manuals, boxes, etc to complete stuff (trying to find the manual for Snatcher is absolutely impossible...). Anything else about me that's important? I live in Wisconsin, read comics, go to college, and that's about it.
Welp, I have been redirected here to introduce myself.
Hello, everyone! I'm StephPlusPlus. What originally brought me here was the informational articles about the NES. I had bought one beginning of June 2011, and I had never owned one before. I had a few questions about it, but I found out what I needed to know.
The reason I just got one now, is that my parents wouldn't let me have one. I wanted any game console, and over the years, I never got one. I'm 19. And I love my new NES and my modest game library.
I did get a GBA, a DS, and a DS Lite, though. I bought everything else. Right now, I'm concentrating on getting good deals on NES games (cart-only) and all the Pokemon games. (I wouldn't mind getting a Genesis or an SNES, though.)
Consoles: toaster NES, grape GBC, indigo GBA, silver DS, black DS lite
Non-gamer things about me? I moved a lot, and I live on a farm (and hate it!). I'm a computer science and mechanical engineering double major. Oh, and I take things apart when I'm bored. It's notable I have a hard time stringing together thoughts and I talk too much. This should be rectified with the new Steph 2.4 release, though. Oh boy, I can't wait!

Hello all! I've lurked here for some time, and now I wish to join this fine community. I have few specific areas of interest, and enjoy videogaming in general. I hope to add more profile information soon, and look forward to participating in discussions on these boards!
Hi everybody! My name is Tim and I've been hanging around this site for quite some time now. I've only just recently decided to try posting and figured this was a good place to start. I doubt I'll get any responses, but I might as well cover my bases and make this intro post.
Right now, I'm not very focused in my collecting and just kind of grab whatever seems cool to me. I'm working on narrowing my area of interest, and I'll probably use the Summer Gaming Challenge as an opportunity to decide which consoles I'd like to focus on. Haven't picked the 10 games yet, but I'm working on it.
I really just enjoy picking up different games, even though I haven't had time to play most of them (hence my massive backlog) but I'll slowly wittle it down with time. Hope to get to know you guys and have an awesome time on this forum!
