Neo geo pocket color games that don't translate

Post by PigInTheMud »

After searching the internet I found that a member named Gao posted a list of games on here that do not translate into English when place in systems with the English language setting:

Gals Fighters
Faselei
Last Blade
Biomotor Unitron 2
Ogre Battle
SNK vs. Capcom: Cardfighters Clash 2
Evolution

EDIT
the following games below require a UK or American cart for English
Gals Fighter
Last Blade
Faselei!
Evolution

Does anyone know of any of the other games that cannot be translated into English?
Also if these games only have Japanese on the cart, does that mean I won't be able to find an English equivalent. I know for Faselei I had to get the UK version, but I don't know if an English release was made available for the other games.

English versions exist for:

Gals Fighter
Last Blade
Faselei!

the others were never localized because the NGPC had been discontinued. Which makes me sad.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Gals Fighter and Last Blade were released in those last ditch blister packers here in the States. The two are almost always found together with one of the Metal Slugs and Fatal Fury.

This particular blister pack is also known as the 'best thing ever' in some trade circles.

The later games released in the US only had the plastic shells. As I understand, they were usually European surplus games where it seemed cost efficient to package them without a manual or any artwork.

UK games are clamshell and usually fetch a higher price.
Almost all US games are cardboard boxes.

Only the UK had releases for Faselei, Cotton, and Evolution in english.

There are several dozen games that are japanese only, but most are not worth it.
Rockman is Jp only, but is playable.
Cool Cool Toon is Jp only, and kinda playable.
