buying Simpsons DVD Box Sets 1 2 + 3 now drying up help !

hi again RB members , i have stupidly waited a long time to get my Simpsons Region 1 Collection underway. I thought i could leave it till the last of buying DVD's and it would be still available to buy at Amazon ( Amazon stock ).

From my searches Season 1 2 and 3 ( especially 3 ) seem to be drying up the other Seasons seem OK for now.

Does anyone know any inside info of whats going on ? .........for example S 1 2 and 3 are still being Pressed and will be available in the future. Or some new Box Set is coming out to replace them , example S 1 2 and 3 in one package.

btw i could get them here ( Oz Region ) but according to a site i know the US Region 1 version is superior in Video quality , with the Oz version the colors look washed out and ghosts at times.

that's funny, because 1, 2 + 3 are as far as I got...

now i just use http://www.watch-simpsons-online.net/
i think seasons 7 & 8 (1996/97) are my favourites. i'll sometimes think of a Simpson's reference and then google it to find which episode it's from, and a lot have been from season 8
