I don't even want to know how long it took me to finish DKC. I started playing when I was about 14, and I just never really gave up. I had long breaks of not playing, but yesterday, I beat the last four levels in a single session. And it felt gooood.

I feel for the bit at the end with the fake credits:
"Hey, the producer's name was King K.Rool too! Oh shit, wait a minute."

I dunno if you've played the remake, but be assured, it gets no easier.

Anyways, on to my big, sexy list:

35. House of the Dead: Overkill (Wii)

King of Fighters '99 Dream Match:
Fuck Rugal.

House of the Dead: Overkill:
Having finished off a couple other entries in the main HotD series , this one
came to me like second nature, and I got through it like such. The main draw here is
the narrative, or well, its reliance on the the fucks and the shits. I actually laughed.

Donkey Kong Country Returns:
I finished this with my better half against my better judgement. I say that as its
one of the most trying trials any relationship can face, considering its immensely
difficult, but frustratingly fair gameplay. Eventually, after hours of popped balloons,
we worked out a system, where we'd take on the platform levels co-op and split
the rail/rocket levels between us. Got there, somehow.

Just rented it for a day. I missed it when I gave it back, so that's why I picked up DKC again.

yeah I thought the dialogue was hilarious. Though the game itself is much easier than 2 or 3.

I loved that game and they managed to make constant, non-stop swearing work for comedic effect. I'm so getting the PS3 version this October.

Sorry you bought Reborn... haha, that was the last DLC I bought and I was pretty disgusted with how short it was, I honestly think it took myself only an hour at most.

I played the trial on OnLive. Def buy.

Me too, I loved the game. OnLive on the other hand... .

By the way, I also think F.E.A.R. 3 has the best cover system I've ever seen.

I am enjoying it so far. If you like 1 and 2 you'll like 3.

Tactics Ogre (SNES)
Ecco the Dolphin CD
Sonic CD (Japanese)
Sonic CD (US)
Sonic & Knuckles
Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
Blaster Master
Fallout New Vegas (PC)
Duke Nukem Forever (PC)
Sonic the Hedgehog (SMS)

Finally sat down and totally beat this semi-hidden weird gem. Wow, it was brutal at some points. Not only do you not get rings for the final boss fight, but every boss fight. Lots of pits and instant deaths too. The Labyrinth Zone wasn't as bad as I expected though, phew! Pretty damn impressive coming from the SMS.
