That's a cool and varied collection you have. I've just got a few sticks. I have the Sega sticks for the Master System, Genesis and DC...I had that crappy American Saturn stick and got rid of it. I've bid on a few of those 3-button VF sticks and I just lost another auction yesterday for the Japanese Virtua Stick.

Sticks are awesome, but I can only really play with balltops and convex buttons. Man, I forgot what this thread was about orginally, now I just want to buy more sticks!

i'm all about the convex buttons too, concave sucks IMO. I personally like bat-top joysticks more than ball top, but I like them both plenty well. depends on the size of the "box" and spring tension too.

Right after I bought the HRAP2 and fighting stick SS, one or two of those virtua sticks popped up on ebay. I've wanted one of the sweet virtua sticks for a long time too, but now that i have a couple good saturn sticks I can afford to wait a while.

Those are just incredible.
Is the wiring for a project like this posted anywhere online?

I'm not sure, but there is a lot of info in the shoryuken tech forum:

To answer the initial question, I haven't been able to get the LT and RT buttons on the Hori Fighting Stick to work with MAME OS X. However, both of the buttons seem to work fine in MacMAME, so if using MacMAME is a viable solution for you I would suggest doing so.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have since bought a Virtua Stick High Grade and it works wonderfully. Truly the best home stick available!
