How has James Rolf (aka AVGN) influenced you as a gamer?

Anything that is gaming related that doesn't fit well anywhere else

That sounds like just the kind of propaganda the unwashed console proletariat wants you to believe.

Actually, his Witcher 2 review seems to make fun of PC gamers and their sense of superiority. He seems to definitely take the console gamer side in that review. I think he just makes fun of everyone

I haven't seen much from AVGN, but I have to say that video is classic. Always brings a smile to my face. Honestly though, is there anyone out there better than Yahtzee?

I don't like Yahtzee that much because:

1.- He hates the Wii. A lot.
2.- He always feeds PC elitists with stuff like saying they are the master race.
3.- He hated Siren: New Translation

You do know that he's often being pretty sarcastic with this right?

Really? I hadn't seen his recent reviews so I don't really know. But the Wii hate is real, he didn't like NMH, Zack & Wiki, THOTD: Overkill, etc.

Maybe you're right, I don't know, I mean, we can't trust gaming media at all, sadly...

He did like NMH. He said it was good but flawed, which it was.

He liked all three of those games to some extent actually. He bashes on each of them a bit, but, that is the point of his videos after all. People forget that he's not a game reviewer, he's a critic. He even recommended House of the Dead Overkill over Killzone 2.

He doesn't like the Wii in general because he really dislikes the motion control gimmick thing, which really isn't an unpopular opinion.

wat...

His No More Heroes review was rather positive. Didn't you even see the whole thing? He ended the review by telling you that despite its flaws you should play it anyway because there's really nothing else quite like it.

(that review is also the reason I checked out Killer 7.)

Also, KillerJuan77, you are woefully inept at detecting sarcasm I'm afraid.
