Custom Firmware PSP To Borrow?

Post by racketboy »

Kinda a weird request, but I thought I would toss this out there....
I have a DS and a GP2X, so I will be doing emulator reviews for each of them, but the PSP would definitely round things out.
I could have somebody review or write guides for me, but having the experience myself would definitely be a plus.
I supposed I could go out and buy and configure one myself, but I'm lacking the extra money and time required.
Is there anyone out there that could ship a pre-configured one to me for reviewing and I can send it back.
I can cover shipping, insurance, and all that stuff.

This doesn't have to be right away, BTW.

Racket, I might be acquiring another PSP in a trade for my old iPod. If so, I'm pretty sure I could downgrade it and load some custom FW on it for you. I'll let you know if the seller gets back to me.

That would be awesome -- keep me posted!
Why are you trading for a second one in the first place?

Well, I just recently bout a new iPod 30gb and I have a 20gb just sitting in a drawer. The wifi on my current PSP doesn't work, and I figured I can downgrade the new PSP, hopefully with working wi-fi, and keep the old one around for whatever. The deal also includes a 2gb Mem stick, so, yeah.
