...Secret of mana 2?

Post by TheFuzz »

Checking out a local game store today, and found an english SoM2 cartridge. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this game never released in NA? Label looked authentic, although I didn't look too close. Did somebody do a run of translated games or something? Are they worth anything?

There's fan hacks of them you can get. I got one. The game ROM was translated and flashed on an EEPROM and soldered into a regular donor cart. They are usually around $50 for a good one.

It's a repro, definitely. If you can get it cheap, pick it up. Worth around $60 from a reputable repro maker, so I'd say pick it up if it's significantly less than that.
I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games

Myself and others on this forum who make repros typically charge $55-$60 for SOM2. If you can get it for real low cheap. GET IT.

Best game ever. Do it if it's cheap.
