Saturn modchip dead??

HI just got my saturn modd chip today and have installed it fine (model 2) but no matter how hard I try the saturn refuses to spin up or even fire the lens but if i take the chip out and put the ribben in normaly it will work fine any ideas???

You probably didnt connect the power supply correctly. If the modchip doesn't have power the CD drive won't spin or anything. Another way to tell if the modchip isn't getting power is if the startup screen just appears (the one that says sega saturn). If it's getting power then it will do the fragmentation thing before the sega saturn thing appears.

Have tested and the chip is getting power any more suggestions??
Is ther a replacement/refund program?
