Goof-off will take the finish off of plastics as well. Making you nice glossy genesis carts dull and kinda textured.

No so much of a legend, it does warp some plastic types if left on for an extended period of time, hours and hours in my experience. So once you get your job done clean it off good and you should be fine.

this is true....don't leave any solvent on plastics for an extended period of time. problems will ensue.
