Ticked: Work changed a contest and took my job out a while ago. Today they extend the contest, added several cars, and we were told that our job is compensation enough.
Smiled: Might have a 2-6 month hiatus from this job coming up for a different job, out of the state.

Smile: on vacation. woo!
Ticked: Some CDs I preordered still haven't arrived. They're 3 days late now. What's the point of a damn preorder if you don't even get the items on time?

Ticked: Well, not really ticked. My brother announced that he's moving out soon. Very soon. I'm really close with my brother, so I'm a little upset over it. Wouldn't be that big of a deal, but he's moving to Queens (I live in Suffolk) so it's kinda a pain in the ass. I don't know, I guess I'll have to see how it goes.
Smile?: I've been at my shitty part time job way too long. And for any one that knows me better, you would know just how much it sucks. I'm gonna apply for Best Buy Geek Squad. They have two opening at my local store which is super easy to get to from my house. A Geek Squad Agent and a Supervisor position. I might try and apply for the supervisor position, though I don't know if I should just apply for the agent. I have a friend that use to work for Best Buy, so I'm gonna call him up and ask him how I should proceed. Maybe he even knows some one and can give me a recommendation or something.
I don't know, I'm not very good with big changes. I've been at my job for 7 years this coming October. But I'm gonna be 24 next week and haven't really done anything since high school (except for some trade school classes for computer repair). I think it's about time I start doing something different. But two big changes at once?

Geek Squad eh?
Hope you're okay with charging people like $50 to run a virus scanner.

Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

LOL, yeah, I've heard about all the BS revolving around Geek Squad. I just think it's my best option right now.AppleQueso wrote:Geek Squad eh?

Thanks, Luke. Keep your fingers crossed for me!Luke wrote:I say go for it, and good for you.Ziggy587 wrote: But two big changes at once?
I was just talking with a friend that used to work for BB, and he told me not to even bother applying for the supervisor position because of in house promotions. Oh well. At least the local BB has the opening I'm looking for. The second two closest BB's wouldn't nearly be as easy to get to (thinking about a daily commute).Stark wrote:I also say go for both positions, don't sell yourself short.

Smile: I have Rocko's Modern Life coming in the mail from Amazon, since I pre-ordered it.
Frown: I saw said DVD at Walmart today, for only $1 more than it cost on Amazon. Had I known Walmart was going to stock it in-store, I wouldn't have bought it on Amazon.

Do it, and if I ever have computer trouble while in New York City, I'll happily bring it to you.Ziggy587 wrote:I don't know, I'm not very good with big changes.
