so speaking of LBP, I already owned the PS3 version which I thought was fantastic. But I feel like I'm actually getting way more sucked into the PSP game. For some reason it's become a bit of ritual for me in the past week to hop in bed and play two or three levels before I'm ready to sleep. Kind of a nice way to unwind. I think what I love about LBP is it's just so damn charming. It's a platformer, but I never ever feel frustrated by it. Often it just makes me smile. The only thing that sucks about the PSP version is the load screens. Jeez, you guys were groaning at the thought of playing Chrono Trigger on PS1. That's nothing! This game takes FOREVER just to get started. But whatever.

tl; dr: LBP PSP RULEZ.

I am getting a lot of messages and chat requests telling me about $50 and $100 codes for PSN. I am receiving around 2 or 3 a day. These are already known to be used codes/scams/chain letters. Some are coming from fellow Racket members. So a heads up, I am deleting anyone I receive this spam from.
Haha. Yeah I get one of those stupid things every time I log on PSN. Never fails to not surprise me.
I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.

Actually, this has kind of inspired me to go through my friends list. I have a lot of "friends" but about half of them are never on or play games I have no interest in. Besides, I finally moved the PS3 back into my livingroom (wife wanted Netflix back). This means I will likely only be gaming on weekends/days off.

LOL, I think you'll be fine. This isn't a bot or virus. These are people that are consciously selecting 'forward', checking all names on their friends list and hitting send - 1997 AOL users.

I got my Welcome Back games about a week ago. I downloaded WipeOut HD and Dead Nation for the PS3 and got LBP PSP for the PSP. I don't have a PSP but I thought I'd DL it for when I get one. I know this was a few pages ago, but the aiming in Dead Nation is great. You just point and press R1. That's it. I'm loving the hell out of it. With Dead Nation, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, the Alien/Zombie Shooter games, I'm really getting an interest in these top-down shooters.

This reminds me of my father-in-law. I don't know what it is about old people (60+) who sit around their computer and read joke/political emails they get from their friends. Then they forward them onto their children/friends. They think by doing this, they're keeping in touch with you but what they don't realize, is that they're spamming you with crap that I don't want to read. I immediately delete those emails without opening them.
