K.O.L.M. 2

Awhile back I introduced you to the game K.O.L.M. It is a metroidvania type game that appeared to be one of the more popular games in this thread. Well, our little robot boy is back in a sequel, and this time he seems to have some daddy issues to work through. More great gameplay lies ahead, so click the link and enjoy.

A sequel to KOLM? Awesome :D

I played through KOLMIAM right after I was done with KOLM. Some challenging stuff - it was like a scenery pack for KOLM where you had a few small levels that you had to finish under a minute. Some rather tricky ones near the end.

Starwish

Starwish is a combination of rpg and shmup. It's got campy anime-style cut scenes with hori shmup fighting in between.

Are you one of those people that thinks they can multi-task well? If so, this game of divided attention will prove (or disprove) just how good you are at that. The gameplay is simple and only requires one button (the spacebar). The trick is that the spacebar controls two separate characters in different ways. This means you have to divide your attention between the character on the top half of the screen and the character on the bottom. It's good fun, though the ending is a little gross. ;)

My first run high score is 8750 if you want to try to beat me.

Super Puzzle Platformer

Super Puzzle Platformer delivers. It is a color matching puzzle game, and it is a gun-toting platformer. Blocks fall from the sky and you have to dodge them. If you shoot a block it will explode after a few hits and it will also destroy any other blocks of the same color that is touching it. There is a pit of spikes below, so you don't want to destroy too many blocks, but they are also raining from the sky, so you need to keep knocking them away. It is a beautiful marriage of the puzzle and platformer genres.

I can't keep up with you, JT :) You must have more free time than I do or somehow know to use it better.

I just played some more puzzles of Picma and Picma Squared and completed the 50x50 ones. Neat puzzle games, Picma is more cerebral and to some extent can get boring (the 50x50 one took me 2 hours). Picma Squared - the one you suggested on the thread - moves more swiftly and does remind one a bit of Minesweeper.

Why thank you, JT; that's awfully sweet of you! :) But, I think I should mention that this is secretly a horror game. I learned that the hard way after playing it. Rather nasty thing for the developer to do actually.
