I call the assembly of the racketeers.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I'm amazed so many people have never beaten a sonic game. Mostly cause they are pretty short and easy (or that could be just me becoming really really good at games I have played 50 times (literally)).

Well, I've never beaten a Castlevania game. And the thing is, I've gotten very close to beating both Symphony of the Night (on PSP), and Dawn of Souls, but then I traded them both (yeah I regret that)

I also have never beaten a Metroid game, but to be fair the only Metroid game I'd care to beat is Super Metroid, so unless I get a copy of that I'll never play it.

Now I demand you people upload your playthroughs of Sonic and Knuckles on youtube, otherwise you are not my friends anymore  .

And
Did anyone else wonder what gruesome meaning Thyrotoxic Periodic Paralysis had towards retro gamers before noticing the chat box?

Don't feel bad. Super Metroid is the only one in that series that I've beaten. And in truth, I've only other one in the series I've ever played is the original.

Sonic and Metroid just aren't my thing I suppose.

Buy your own kidney, you bum! Well if I'm going to hell I may as well enjoy the trip: I haven't beaten any Zelda, Metroid, Gradius, Final Fantasy*, Quake, Command & Conquer** or Ultima title.

Man...it surely is hot around here....

To be frank, I haven't beten Sonic even tough I have 1 and 2 shitting on my shelf because I can't play with my Megadrive in my room, I would need to take it to where my parents always are so no Sega for me.

The same applies to all my console games to be frank. I really need to fix that.

Bro-force! I can also ally with you as an excuse not to paly Deus Ex, yay! =D

* I have beaten one...Final Fantasy Tactics...Advance =D
**Red Alert had a game-breaking bug in the last stages so I couldn't complete it

Wow, I really thought games like SMB3, SMW, and the original Sonic games were liked by all! Its hard to imagine not enjoying them, just because I have been playing them all of my life.

I've ran through SMB and SMB3 so many times I can't count. Not too often did I play through the entire game though, as there are shortcuts a plenty.

I've never completed Sonic 3 & Knuckles, but I've finished Sonic and Sonic 2 several times as well.

I know its not at topic, but I enjoy the old genesis Sonic games more than Mario. I think its the music... and the ability to eventually go super sonic.

I think I now need to go and play through Sonic 3, Sonic and Knucles, and Sonic Spinball.

I wondered very much what Thyrotoxic Periodic Paralysis had to do with retro gaming for about a minute, which included fully reading the description and some of the links below, before my eyes traveled to the right side of the screen.

I've beaten Sonic 2, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic CD, Sonic Adventure, and Sonic Adventure 2 so I've done a fair bit of Sonic gaming, but I can see how the gameplay in Sonic might not be everyone's cup of tea.

My one big retro travesty is never completing Zelda A Link to the Past. For some reason I always get side-tracked by other things in my life once I get towards the end of the game.
