BS Zelda Emulation Help

Post by The Last Horseman »

Hello, this is my third post here. I was wondering, how could I emulate these games? The only ones I really want to play are the remake of the original and the one that's a sequal to ALttP (can't remember the name right now).

What emulator would I need?

What would I need to do to use the patch causing the character to be Link?

Is there any other things that I need to know?

I would also like to know if there was any copies of these games that had been put on reproduction cartridges or if they could be put on gameboy color/advance cartridges.

Thanks in advance, and for dealing with a noob.
Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360

WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.

I've seen them out there as just regular SNES ROM's, so you wouldn't need anything fancy. This was like 3 years ago, so I don't remember which site. But y'know... google.

This site has everything you need, including the right roms with all the right patches, or the bare roms so you can grab whatever patches you want.

Note to mods: Don't know if that sort of thing is allowed here, my apologies if it isn't.

I'm somewhat knowledgable in emulation, but how do you apply patches, and is there any of the roms for Ancient Tablets that are all together and untimed? I had some trouble understanding the documentation.

Again, thanks for dealing with my dumb questions.

Patches can be applied with programs like Lunar IPS. There is a patch to remove the time limit for AST under optional patches. There's no combined ROM for AST though, due to data being different among the ROMs it would lead to a large ROM if they were combined.
