Yes he was drink driving, yes it is fucking stupid. Just as stupid is the person who got in the car with him. No one is arguing that they made stupid decisions. But to say its great his dead is completely and utterly fucked up.

It doesn't matter who he was, what he did, what show he was on, or whether or not he's a dumbass. I barely even know what Jackass is, as I've barely seen any of it, but some of the responses in this thread made me pretty wide-eyed.
Celebrating the death of someone in general is a completely detestable act in my opinion, and if you do so then you must be a pretty sick fuck. Yes, drunk driving is moronic, but if your only response to this news is "Hah! Good!! He's an idiot!", then you need to get your head checked. There are more things to take into consideration when a person dies than the face value of the incident.

How do you know he was driving drunk? Have they released toxicology results? The owner of the bar he was at said that he'd only had one or two drinks and wasn't in bad shape to drive.
