Mother 3 Repro, can anyone make one?

Looks like someone is selling a Mother 3 reproduction on Ebay. Link It looks like the person just took the guts out of a flash cart with Mother 3 on it, replaced and case and put the Mother 3 label on it. Looks poorly made, but I'm still going to bid on it.

Yeah, except it's not an official game, and therefore is illegal to sell on eBay.

People sell pirates all the time on Ebay. I rarely see them get removed.

You mistaking pirates and unlicensed games? Ebay doesn't allow the sale of pirates. [X-in-1 games] Although unlicensed games are fine. So are hacks as far as I can tell, although most people selling them are either the retail person or some a-hole trying to scam idiots saying it's rare, too, like said above.

gba flashcarts are too big... they usually need room for a cf card.

Untrue. There's a lot of flashcards out there that are the size of a GBA cart. Heck, I've got one that fits in the shell that is flush with the DS Lite port.
