Yeah, it's not like this is an ultra exclusive elite club about "snobby" retro gamers.fastbilly1 wrote:Ticked - People wanting to make the site some sort of weird invite system.

I wasn't meaning for it to be "exclusive", it would be easy to get in. You would just have to demonstrate that you were not some guy in China running spam through an online translator, or a 12 year old who wants to talk about how X console he doesn't own suxxors. The back-and-forth emailing would prevent bots from joining at all.KillerJuan77 wrote:Yeah, it's not like this is an ultra exclusive elite club about "snobby" retro gamers.fastbilly1 wrote:Ticked - People wanting to make the site some sort of weird invite system.

I certainly wouldn't have joined Racketboy if I had to go through all that crap. I would just go to another site.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Ticked: An absolutely shitty day.
Wake up at 5 AM for eight hours of a completely mindless job at the factory. I don't like it, but it's money, and money I need.
I get home, and half an hour later, I get a call from the temp agency I'm going through for work.
My position has been terminated because of a lack of work.
So I go to my doctor's appointment, and then my softball game. 0-2, hit balls right at fielders, along with us getting crushed comes up with me not in a great mood.
So I head home and turn to my respite, the Internet. It'll have something to cheer me up.
Yeah, sure.
Of course, I find out that one of the guys that's helping me run my website is essentially being a double agent between my site and the site mine splintered from. He was starting to regain my trust, but...man. This takes the cake.
So now, I have no job and my massive website is being run by two people. Can it get any worse?
