Yup, like I said above I find it's always best to keep their charging pretty low if anything, while you as the Hero dish out the really big hits. Half the time the AI's charged attacks don't even connect anyways.

This game is seriously fun. I don't have any problems maxing out every weapon for all three characters. Aside from the advice which everyone has already given, just use Cure liberally and have some revives handy for the tougher boss fights. Grinding in this game is also pretty easy, so you should be at a decent level without much trouble at all. Pretty obvious stuff for an RPG, right?
