There's a triple triad stand-alone game for android phones (not sure about others) which adds some new cards and has online capabilities. I only played it for a short bit quite a while ago while there were still some issues, but it may have been improved upon since. Last I heard about the game it was completely free.TEKTORO wrote: Triple Triad game should be a full fledge retail release![]()
It is the reason I havent beat FFVIII yet.

Has an extra episode:noiseredux wrote:I'm not a huge fan of FPS's, but Duke Nukem Total Meltdown is just what the doctor ordered. It's got the Doom-thing going on, which I like, only way better. I haven't even beaten the first level yet, but I think the design is brilliant. Great game it seems.
So is Total Meltdown JUST a port of 3D, or is it 3D plus added shit?
You also have to love how a single episode in Doom, Quake, DN3D or whatever, is like the equivalent of a full single player FPS campaign of today. I'm pretty tempted to replay DN3D myself now too after finishing DNF, it looks dead sexy running on eDuke.Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown (titled simply Duke Nukem in Europe), the PlayStation version, contains all three original episodes, plus a new one, Plug 'n' Pray, which includes six extra levels and a secret level, the latter which was also included in the PC version. The new episode features several new enemies (including three new types of Pig Cops) and a new final boss, robot CyberKeef. The version also features remixed music, some rearranged from the PC version and some original, in streaming XA-Audio made by Mark Knight.[10]
I will always be more of a Doom guy myself, and I like playing these old FPS's without all the add-ons and such, but I think the Build engine lends itself way better to these updates and all. Check out the HRP. That's like practically Quake engine level stuff or even better there. Okay wow, well here's v5 of HPR.

I learned that in Perfect Dark, rather than just fumble around for an hour until you find out what to do(though this does work quite well), you really should just read the details of your mission on the pause screen. Anypony know about how long this game is? I'm pretty sure I'm not that far in.

How long was Goldeneye to you? These games are kind of short with missions that can take literally just minutes sometimes, but these games had tons of replayability. PD's higher difficulties can change the levels a lot more than they did in Goldeneye, you'll have a lot more missions to accomplish and in most stages several new area's open up that aren't accessible on the lower difficulties. In the villa stage you even start off in a completely different spot.NeverGoBak wrote:I learned that in Perfect Dark, rather than just fumble around for an hour until you find out what to do(though this does work quite well), you really should just read the details of your mission on the pause screen. I've always felt like I should probably play Perfect Dark, but I can't muster up the will. I did try the demo on XBLA, and walked away from it with no feeling other than meh...
When I think back to Goldeneye, I played the holy hell out of that game and did everything, unlocked everything, all that stuff. But when I really think about it, it was sometimes fun, but most times annoying or frustrating. To be honest, I'm not sure why I played it so much.
I know PD supposedly fixed Goldeneye's issues, but I just can't be bothered.

I also have Goldeneye for N64 but I haven't played it either. I picked it up at a pawn shop for cheap well after my summer challenge was already underway. For some reason Perfect Dark just seems more like my kind of game, I enjoyed the first mission more on Perfect anyway.Xeogred wrote: How long was Goldeneye to you?
