Is anyone interested in writing reviews for a digital mag?
As some of you know I have a digital classic gaming publication that focuses almost exclusively on the 8 and 16 bit eras (www.TheVgaTV.com). Seeing as how I've left a ton of classic systems out of the mix (Saturn, Dreamcast, N64, PS1-2, Handhelds, Neo Geo, Arcade, etc) I thought it would be a good idea to start a magazine that focuses on all those systems I missed.
Here is what I am looking for. Four Dedicated Writers that will be willing to produce 3-4 articles a month (1,500+ words per article). The articles would mostly be reviews of classic games (along with screen shots), but I'm open to other articles as well (version comparisons, prototypes, Imports, Interviews, etc). For the most part you will have total creative freedom to cover whatever suits your fancy (the only stipulation being that there be no cursing in the articles as having that present makes it more difficult to get on certain services).
Those four writers will handle all the written content and screen shots. I'll handle the editing, the creation of the ePub, distribution of the ePub to various services (Nook, iBookstore, etc), as well as managing the issue topics (to make sure we don't overload on one system or genre). There is no money up front, however since there will be 5 of us we will split the profits evenly (20% each).
If anyone is interested or have questions please post on here or send me an email to [email protected]

Sure, why not. I write reviews anyway for the hell of it. You could just copy and paste them into your epub, just give me proper credit.

I'd like to thank everyone who has written in and submitted samples so far. I'm a bit overwhelmed at the response. Here is what I'm going to do, I'm going to call a deadline for submissions this Saturday June 25 (end of the day). On Sunday I'm going to review everything that you have submitted and select the team. I would love to take everyone, but in order for anyone to make any money I have to limit it to 4 writers.
Again, thank you to all of you who expressed an interest. Looking forward to getting this off the ground.

Thanks. Even if I am not selected I appreciate the consideration and the time taken to review my material. Best of luck to everyone. I hope your e-zine gets the best team possible, whether that means I, myself am included or not!
