Smile: Getting married in a week :) The end of a 2 year engagement :S

Frowned: Work is tough as we just started coding for a 7 week period. After the wedding, I plan to take a 2 week vacation, so that means I have 7 weeks of work crammed into 5 weeks. And my fiancee wants me to take a extra day off to help plan for the wedding >_<
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

Congratulations! Don't worry, any time you put into the wedding for your wife to be will be time well spent. Happy wife = happy life. :D

Best wishes. Almost everything in my life has improved since getting married, and I hope the same goes for you.

But HubbaBubbawha? You've been engaged for two years, you're getting married in a week and you still have stuff to plan? Oy Vey! That has to be a headache and a half. But it is good to know that after all the planning is finished, you have a half a month to relax. Don't even stress about work, and be sure to take time to smell the roses.

Again, Best Wishes.

@Stark & Luke

Thanks for the wishes, 2 years of engagement, and nothing started until about a month and a half ago :lol: Well, we did book our venue about a week after I proposed, but thats it. As for the planning and prep, tons of "It'd be cool if we...", which just add to the workload on my plate.

BIG ASS SMILE:
Earlier in the week, a tree branch fell off a neighbor's tree and broke HIS fence (which was rotting BTW). The branch landed in our yard, but didn't break anything. Neighbor appologized for the inconvience and is working to replace the fense ASAP.

He hired a landscaping crew to remove the branch and clean our yard (pull weeds, mow grass). When I asked him about it, he said:

"Oh, that's my way of saying sorry. We'll be working on the fence all weekend, so I felt I had to do something nice for you. Sorry for any trouble we've caused."

Best neighbor ever. I'ma have a BBQ and invite him and his family.

Tim Langdell, as big a thorn in gaming's side as Jack Thompson, got his shit owned in court hard yesterday.

For those not in the know, the guy is a fucking leech who makes a living suing game developers who use the word 'edge' in their products in any way shape or form due to his ownership of a 'company' called Edge Interactive Media, a game developer that has not developed ANY games for nearly 2 decades.

Tl;dr version of the link - Dude got sued for using someone else's trademarks and lost the case in the most spectacular, amazing crash-and-burn way.

Highlight: Claiming he'd developed a contested logo in 1991, bringing with him a 5.25 floppy to prove it. The floppy contained a file dated 1991....made with a Windows 95 program. Oops.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Awesome. Wondered what happened to all the bullshit he was pissing people off with the other year. Glad he got bitten.
