I've owned a PSP for a while now but I only have 3 games for it. I am always hesitant to buy PSP games because I know some of them have DLC. So I was wondering if there was a website or something that had a full list of all the PSP games and if they had DLC or not.
Basically, I'd like to buy a ton of used PSP games in the future but I want to avoid the ones that have DLC.
PSP game DLC list
Re: PSP game DLC list
Very few have DLC, I think. I found this: http://community.us.playstation.com/thr ... 0&tstart=0

I don't think you have much to worry about, there's very few PSP games that support DLC. Most of the games (I'm assuming you're going to want a bunch of Japanese developed games) that you'll have interest in won't have any DLC.
Re: PSP game DLC list
If they are cheap enough, I might consider it. I just hate the idea of buying a game on physical media and not getting the full game. It is stupid having the game split up in two places like that.noiseredux wrote:you could just buy the games and NOT buy the DLC, though...

in the cases of the games listed on the page that dsheinem linked, I don't think you'd be missing much without the DLC honestly.Inazuma wrote:If they are cheap enough, I might consider it. The one I can think of off the top of my head is Prinny, Can I Really Be The Hero?
I think what trips you up is that you see game+DLC = 100%. Sometimes that is the case, but other times it's game+DLC = 125%.

Re: PSP game DLC list
Well, I'm glad to hear that not many games have DLC and if they do, it's not very substantial. I was worried that PSP games had the same kind of DLC that PS3 and 360 games did.noiseredux wrote:in the cases of the games listed on the page that dsheinem linked, I don't think you'd be missing much without the DLC honestly.Inazuma wrote:If they are cheap enough, I might consider it. I don't really know a lot about the PSP since I've almost completely ignored it.
Thanks to everyone for your help.
Re: PSP game DLC list
What MrPopo said. Its only not the full package if the content was held back as DLC (see Assassins Creed 2 DLC), but if it was developed after launch then its new extra content (see LittleBigPlanet level packs).
Also worth noting, Killzone Liberation and Wipeout Pure are free DLC expansion rather then paid. And you don't even need to access the store to download them. Just download, unzip to your PSP and go.

Unless the DLC is on-disc, it's generally an issue of >100% of the content than 100% of it.
