Hey Noise,

You find any issues with HB or ISOs after upgrading from 6.20? Considering making the jump myself, but I'm currently going with:
If it aint broke, don't fuck with it.
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

I don't anything about ISOs honestly. I don't bother. But I can tell you that on 6.39 I'm running all my homebrews and even PS1 games ripped to eboots with no problem.

I have a problem...

I'm using the tutorial to change to 6.20 with TN Hen. It says to put the 6.20 in the Update folder, but I do not have a update folder. I tried putting it in other folders to see if it would show up. The file for the 6.20 is a .pbp

In the root of your memory stick, there's a directory called "GAME". The "UPDATE" directory is in there. :)

ISOs work great for me on 6.39. The only thing I miss is IRShell.

Or if the "UPDATE" folder isn't there (if you've never updated with that memory stick), just make the folder, put it in the Game directory, and throw the 6.20 eboot in it. It should show up in your games and then just run it.

Also, if all you want to run is emulators, a lot of them have "signed" versions and don't don't even need a Hen or CFW to run. Of course, if you want to play PS1 games, you'll need to run a hen.
Here's a link to some signed homebrews (some of which are emulators):
http://wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1879

And then there's good old HBL, which is signed as well.

I'm still on 6.20 and using TN-E with my 3000 model. Works great for the most part. Except that certain game collections on PSP (Capcom Classics, Power Stone, Dracula X chronicles, and a couple others) don't work with the ISO loaders. I may switch to the 6.20 Pro at some point, but I have a 1000 model with CFW too for my problem games.

I have downloaded TN HEN and downloaded it into the root folder; however, it does not show up in the game section of the psp menu. :?

the memory card folders should be like this:

0: PSP/GAME/TN HEN/eboot

Hmm, Weird.

All I can say is experiment, look up a few different FAQs on the matter (it often helps to hear things explained in different ways) and don't give up.
I totally abused my first memory stick just figuring things out.

I would try actually creating a "TN Hen" folder on the memory stick under the "Games" folder (same place your PSP demos would be from PSN if that helps) and then throwing the eboot in there personally.
It also helps if you're familiar with the PSP folder layout. If you have it in the right place, It WILL show up in your games menu (whether a program will work or not).

Also, make sure you're on the right firmware for your HEN.

Keep at it and you'll be victorious
