PSP
I just purchased my first PSP from a friend who won it out of a game machine. I only have a couple of games so far, but I am falling in love with this handheld!
For you other PSP lovers out there, can you suggest some great games I should look for?
(I own Silent Hill: Origins and Cladun so far)

Re: PSP
I know you like Metroid, if you pick up Dracula X: Chronicles you can try Castlevania:Symphony of the Night, which has a Metroid feel. If you like puzzles, pick up Crush. If you like Mega Man, you can try Mega Man Powered Up and Mega Man Maverick Hunter X. For strategy rpgs, there is Disgaea, Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions and Jeanne D'Arc. If you want some Playstation 2 caliber games, try God of War: Chains of Olympus and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
What model do you have? Getting a PSP hacked has a lot of benefits if you have the right model. You can use some emulators if you do that to play SNES games, PC Adventure games, NES games, Gameboy Advance games, Genesis games, arcade games, Neo Geo games, etc. However, the S-NES emulator has some performance issues and most of the arcade games you can emulate are from Capcom or the Neo Geo

Seriously. Screw you Shao Kahn I'm gonna play Animal Crossing.
Re: PSP
It has an obscene number of JRPG ports on it, most of which are a fair bit cheaper/easier to get than the originals. Valkyrie Profile (:Lenneth on PSP) might be one to look into - side scroller/platformer between combat, and combo oriented fights. Just read a FAQ if you want to get the better ending, as the game won't point you in that direction at all.

Re: PSP
Is it one of those machines where you have to stack up the tetris-looking blocks? I've gotten so damn close to winning that thing. I think I may have to go back to the mall and try it again.PixelPixii wrote:I just purchased my first PSP from a friend who won it out of a game machine. I am really enjoying Monster Hunter Unite. Great to just turn on and play for a bit, especially if you have a friend that you can play with. No Infrastructure though, so you have to be pretty close
Re: PSP
Most PSP games just aren't for me, but the Wipeout series and Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together are standouts. I haven't played the latter yet, but I'm getting the PSP from my brother when he comes through to move to college just to do so. Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis was one of my favorite games on the GBA, and that's supposed to be one of the crappy games in the series! I can't imagine how good this one will be.
