Don't have a Kinect, but thankful it doesn't require one to play. Looks pretty too!

I'll be getting this real soon. From the reviews I've read, you really miss out not taking advantage of the Kinect features. Evidently the accuracy is spot on with Kinect and hit or miss utilizing the controller for faster sequences in the game.

I've heard the exact opposite, including from my coworker who snagged it. I originally preordered it on the PS3 (since I get my multiplatform stuff there) but when I saw it was going to take another two months for it to ship I changed my order to the 360. My copy should arrive on Friday.

Or at least the handful of reviews I've read were positive in regards to Kinect connectivity.

Yeah, this type of game works fairly well with the Kinect, but it's still not going to be as precise as a controller.

This game is everything it should be and more. The ONLY problem with the Kinect controls is the "flick" responsiveness. Tracking and aiming is simply better with Kinect. Problem is a flick motion is required to fire after locking on and this can be a little tricky. Would have been fine using a button for that. Kinda wish the Kinect had a little stand alone Wii-numchuck like controller with 2 buttons and the analog it would make so many more games possible.

Am I the only one who thinks this game looks like an XBLA/PSN title? I couldn't imagine paying $50 for this game

I am waiting for the PS3 version to launch to see which is better reviewed before buying. I played this at PAX with Kinect and absolutely could not stand the motion controls.

I love Rez. I play Rez with a controller. I'll play this with a controller too.

Why do you think this looks like a DL title?
