I'll be honest with you, Brad. I'm not good with change.

I have no intention of getting rid of my PSP when Vita comes out.

I'll probably wait for the inevidable "slim" model, or PSV 2000, this one they're showing us now looks kind of bulky/tubby. And I'm still hoping for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Stories.

And Australian gamers are getting fucked over again: http://www.ebgames.com.au/vita
$348.00 for the WiFi model and $408.00 for the 3G model? Fuck that. I'm going to import that shit.

I definitely want one though.

Ever since the GBA, early adopters really end up losing in the long run. You have to consider: is it worth getting to enjoy the system two years earlier, and getting kicked in the teeth, or are you ok with a two year wait?

I'm not sure how I got kicked in the teeth with the original PSP. I find it more comfortable to use for longer periods of time. It is definitely of higher build quality than the 2k and 3k. And while the screen does have some slight ghosting, its better than the terribad screens they used on the 3k.

However in the case of the DS (and most likely the 3DS) I'd agree.

3DS for sure. It's rather bulky, and I've heard the battery life is nowhere near as good as the DS Lite's. Plus, it uses that battery stand thing, which isn't as convenient as the GBA SP and DS's charging cord.

The thing is though.. With the original DS it really looked like some sort of abomination, and the screen really was too dim. The 3DS is good from the get go. It's slick, it has bright screens, and the over all build quality and design is good.

And I know a lot of people like the PSP Slim more, but I actually like the look and feel of the original PSP, and someone else did too since they stole it from me. :(

The PS Vita looks good from the get go, and I think I would be quite happy with it.

Now what I really want to know is if we'll be seeing IP like Borderlands, Fallout, Mass Effect and Call of Duty for it...
