My thoughts exactly, I don't think they'll do anything we've seen before whether it's sandbox or not. I would prefer a Metroid-like approach if given the choice but a Batman game in a sandbox world would actually make a certain amount of sense. Batman monitors and patrols every part of Gotham at all times. If we got a Batman sandbox game, I would want everything to occur at night and I would want the game to properly portray how gritty, crime infested and nightmarish of a city Gotham is. What I DON'T want is a bunch of run of the mill, uninspired, half-assed missions that we've seen in tons of other sandbox games already
