Played Mortal Kombat Armegeddeon on ps2 with my brother today, it was a lot more enjoyable than I expected The first fighter I've actually liked, aside from Super Smash Bros.

Marvel Vs Capcom (PS1) ...it's not actually as bad as I always heard. I mean, yeah it's got some bad frame skips and weird balancing issues. But, still FUN.

Well, fighting game fans are very obsessively detail-oriented, so even if a different version of a game is slightly better, they will latch onto that one. To be honest, though, in a genre that is so based around actions that take place in fractions of a second, getting a good pace and maintaining it is crucial, so I would think that it is justified.

I personally enjoy X-Men Vs Street Fighter on the SS much more than MvC 1. I could just have that and MvC2 and my Marvel fighting needs would be sated.

yes i decided to inflict some self-torture last night. my friend wanted to play it. we finally got it working in FBA. the whole hour i was cursing the game for being fucking retarded to a new level. at the end we both agreed it was a stale boring piece of shit. like i remember.
