Thrift store by my house. Sometimes they have awesome stuff, like I got a Nomad + charger for $7 there once, but quite often they have nothing. Been pretty good so far this summer though.

Great for a Mod impartiality overseeing the forums and copy my writing style. But still, an okay read and thanks for plugging my Disc Cleaning Thread.![]()
Thought you'd get a kick out of that, glad you didn't take it personally since we're just here to have a good time. Someone having a laugh at your expense is a sign of camaraderie, where I'm from

Picked up Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 2, Dokapon Kingdom for PS2 both CIB as well as artwork, cases and manuals for 8 orphaned PS2 games for $15 at Gamestop of all places. Also got the manager to give me all the cases, art and manuals they're tossing out from now on.

This is the first time i've literally laughed out loud on the finds of the day thread. Well played Dsh.
Until I laughed harder at CRT's follow up post - cuz, I couldn't tell if he was playing along or still just being himself. HIGH-Larius!!!!

Jesus Christ - that post was freakin' EPIC! DSH & CRT - I salute you both!
I'll second aaron's comment - I actually love reading CRT's finds! I've gone out on a whim and bagged a few games thanks to his write-ups..
Matter of fact, his PS2 Special Edition thread is a great resource for finding some nice gems now that PS2 is on it's way out.. I can thank CRT and this thread for 7 of the last 10 games I picked up...

Dude, what opshops have their games for that price?
The lowest for PC stuff I got was $2 for Wing Commander III at a Lions Club store.

Church ones, indy ones, there are a few that have all 'videos' for $1 and all 'cds' for $1, looking through old VHS taps, DVDs and Music CD's I find games all the time.
Kmart currently have a whole heap of games that are scanning wrong (All $7 games are $2 and most $9-$15 games tend to be around the $3-$5 mark), go to your local kmart and play with the scanners.
